A retro-styled arcade beat up that can be played for free directly in your Internet browser, this fantasy themed MMO RPG is a stunning blend of 2D anime side scrolling platform beat up with all the trimmings of a modern day MMO. In Blade Hunter players will explore dangerous dungeons in far-off lands whilst undertaking an in-depth story driven quest in a classic fight against evil. Play the game solo, take on the challenges with other players or even form your own Guild to take advantage of the unique Guild features available.

The game is divided into three main classes, each of which is attached to a unique character with their own storyline. Play as the sneaky and shadowy Rogue who with the night as his ally brings death swiftly with his twin blades, play as the charming Elven Knight who smile, charm and charisma is as sharp as his sword or as the beautiful and powerful Valkyrie who believed to be blessed by Thor himself has mastered the art of illusionary magic. Each of these classes play is completely differently so players should be able to find a character that suits their own preferred style of play.

Take on quests, earn gold and gain XP to level up your character so that they are able to equip stronger and more powerful gear, including soul blades that I used to on leash devastating soul magic. With a number of different skills available players should be able to customise their characters to best suit their needs, alternatively they will throughout gameplay pick up a number of AI companions that will also help fill the roles they cannot perform themselves. Take your skills and companions into dark dungeons, including heroic and nightmare dungeons for that extra challenge which will in turn yield a far greater reward if successful.

Players who prefer the social element of an MMO may wish to join a Guild, or if they have the available gold and level requirements form their own. Players are able to work towards building up their Guild, increasing its rank, which in turn will give them more boosts and benefits when they play. Guilds are able to enter unique quests, specifically designed for them, such as Sceptre Defense, which takes place on a Guild by Guild first-come first-served basis where the top 30 battle ranked Guilds have priority. The event opens daily and each Guild may have 10 players in attendance and must defeat wave after wave of creatures trying to destroy the Sceptre at the Guild is defending. If successful the Guild receives points, as well as extra points the more quickly the monsters are defeated.
