You will start the game by first and foremost creating your own basketball team, taking on the position of team manager it is your responsibility to build up an all-star team and take them into the big leagues. Create your squad from over 70 unique players, both men and women, each of which can be customised, trained and levelled up individually to create an original team. Building up a strong squad is key to success then taking them onto the court you are responsible for every sprint, pass, dribble and shot as you play in PVP to try and win your matches. From the sideline as a manager you are able to play various Game Cards, player Talents and Traits, that act as either temporary or permanent buffs for the team and individual players. Where game cards are expended after a single use Talents are specific to one chosen player and can be triggered multiple times bought are on a cool down timer, whereas traits are similar in style but have a passive effect. Cards are handed out once a match has finished and the better you performed the better the quality of game cards that you will receive. Team managers earn XP through playing matches against AI and real Players, facing off against each other and duking it out in matches starting from the lower rookie leagues and working up through the amateur leagues, pro leagues and then finally once they have reached level 15 into the challenging WBC All-Stars Division. Once a team reaches this division they are then matched up against similarly ranked players using the automated ASP Ranking (All Star Points) system that acts as a chess style ELO system to pair up teams who have a similar skill level. Players will then fight it out to work their way to the top of the leaderboard where they can earn prizes and trophies by winning the leagues. BasketDudes screenshot: |
